Who we are
This website is run by UK Compliance Desk, a small UK business. For anything about your personal information, email hello@ukcompliancedesk.co.uk.
What we collect and why
- If you email us: your email address, name (if you give it) and message, so we can reply. Lawful basis: legitimate interests (answering your enquiry). Emails are kept for up to 2 years, then deleted.
- Free tools (such as the MTD checker): the figures you type stay in your browser. They're not sent to us or stored.
- Visitor statistics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you.
- Email list (if we launch one): only if you sign up, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Cookies
This site doesn't set any tracking or advertising cookies.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your data. It's processed only by the services that run the site and our email: Cloudflare (hosting, statistics and email forwarding) and Microsoft (our email provider). Some of these may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email hello@ukcompliancedesk.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the ICO.
